VIBE ARTS CENTRE

The VIBE Arts studio project tasked us with the job of creating a multi-use space focusing on VIBE Arts Canada’s multiple arts and dance activities for under-privileged youth, within the Harbord Village of Downtown Toronto at 283 Harbord Street. Since VIBE Arts' target demographic is ages 3-20, I put a big emphasis on designing a space that will visually communicate and attract all ages from children to young adults. Additionally, I incorporated multiple mixed-use spaces to accommodate the variety of art-related activities (dance studio, gallery, art studio, etc). Overall, I wanted to create a fun and joyful environment that will attract users to see all the amenities VIBE Arts has to offer.
