WOVEN LIGHTS

Into one of my course's main projects, we were tasked to create a light fixture in any form, as long as it was a hanging light fixture and served functionality in real-life design. With this in mind, I wanted to create a light fixture that brings out natural elements in a free-flowing shape format, so I created multiple circular panels that are woven with multi-coloured thread, encased by an MDF wooden ring exterior. To make the light fixture more interactive between its users, I made each woven panel detachable, so you can mix and match, and play with different colour palettes in your chosen space.
